Information for First-Time Visitors

When to Arrive

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your first class so we can show you around, answer any questions, and help you get ready for training. 

What to Bring

Bring a pair of flip-flops, and a water bottle. We'll have a loaner gi and a belt ready for you. Please remove all jewelry before class, tie back long hair, and make sure your fingernails and toenails are clean and neatly trimmed.

What to Expect

Your first class is all about getting comfortable on the mat. You'll learn how the class is structured, practice basic movement and breakfalls, and be introduced to a few fundamental judo techniques. No experience is expected.
